Felt the urge to do a re-imagined version of Zelda.
But I didn’t just want to do a gender-swapped version of Link’s outfit, with the greens exchanged for purple shades - that’s boring. So I based this somewhat on the concept art for Twilight Princess, with the shoulder armour and so on, and tried to keep the feel of Zelda’s original outfit - the colours, the cut of the bodice - while making it more practical to move around it; something to wear when you’re out kicking Stalfos-ass. She also kept her TP-sword, but I did give her the Hylian shield and a hookshot, along with a fairy and some blue potion.
Thus, Zelda the Hyrule Knight was born.

I can see her as hero in a heartbeat. I enjoy that she looks like she could pull on a skirt and just stay in her gear if she needed to jump into a more 'princess-ey' role. The gloves and armour are great, so glad they aren't just Links thrown on her, and keeping her own sword was a fantastic touch. I am in live with the fairies on her belt, what a great part of the piece.
